On October 24, 2013 Bill McKibben, the founder of 350.org, spoke at BC about the nationwide divestment campaign and why it is important that climate change is addressed urgently. 350.org is an organization fighting climate change, named after the 350 parts-per-million of CO2 limit scientists say is safe to have in the atmosphere. The room was completely packed, and his speech was fantastic.
